Where It All Began

From Cartersville to the NBA

In 1989, Eddie Lee Wilkins returned to Cartersville from the NBA — not to retire, but to build something that would outlast any game. He started with a summer basketball camp and over 150 youth. Today, ELW Youth Association, Inc. has served over 20,000 youth across four generations of families.

From basketball and STEM to swim lessons and financial literacy — our free summer camps run June 1 through July 24. Every camp is 100% free for all youth.
